Seven honest statuses
Where is this thing, really, on each platform? One lifecycle, a blocked flag and a stage axis.
Every node in Arkaik walks the same seven-step lifecycle: idea (the inbox), discovery (being made ready through design or spec), backlog (ready, waiting to start), development, releasing (built, awaiting QA or distribution), live, and archived.
The trick is that a status isn't one value. Your checkout screen can be live on web, in development on iOS and still an idea on Android. Arkaik tracks each platform separately, so the map never averages away the gap.
Blocked is not a status. Something stalled by a dependency keeps its real status and carries a blocked by flag instead. "Blocked in development" and "blocked in discovery" are very different conversations, and now you can tell them apart.
Exposure lives on its own axis: a stage of beta, monitoring or deprecated qualifies something already built without pretending it's a lifecycle step.
